Watch Dogs “WeareData” site activated, it’s a “hyper-connected experiential website”

Watch Dogs WeareData LogoRemember that mysterious WeareData site for Watch Dogs that was discovered a couple of days ago? Well now it’s live. Turns out it’s “an experiential website designed to gather and graph the publicly available data that govern people’s lives in a single location.”

The site uses the data to show that the hyper-connected Watch Dogs universe is more of a reality than we think, and shows that everything is connected. WeareData aims at providing “a glimpse into this reality and to give visitors a new perspective on the cities in which they live.”

Watch Dogs WeareData SiteCurrently the site only maps out Berlin, London and Paris. Users can see information on the cities inhabitants, public transport schedules, telecommunications networks, energy usage, traffic and safety infrastructure (traffic lights and CCTV cameras) and regionalized socioeconomic data (average net income, unemployment rate and crime rate). You can also see geo-localized social media activities from residents, including Facebook and Twitter.

Check it out at It’s pretty interesting.

Watch Dogs is set for a November 22 current-gen release. Next-gen versions will be released when the consoles début at retailers.
